December’s meeting introduced Wong Kar-Wai, his use of color, Dutch angels and framing through foreground images was discussed. A number of members reflected that they watched bits of Wong’s films and where not interested but after a group presentation and discussion new relevance was appreciated. Interesting on how group interaction reveal common educational insight. A good thought and motivation for continuing this groups mission of exploring artist from the past and present that have achieved milestones in there craft.

Just watched a documentary on the cinematographer Christopher Doyle.
The film is called:” Like the Wind” 2022.
A takeoff on his Chinese nickname DKF.
It illuminates the force that is Chris Doyle.
I found and enjoyed it on Amazon Prime
Cheers Peter
